No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the request of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. Separate Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract will be required. All bid bonds, performance and payment bonds, insurance contracts, and certificates of insurance shall be either executed by or counter-signed by a licensed resident agent of the surety or insurance company, having his place of business in the State of Georgia, and in all ways complying with the insurance laws of the State of Georgia. The City of Thomasville, Georgia, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, to readvertise, and/or to award the contract in the best interest of the City This project consists of improvements to Cassidy Park: that include sidewalks, limestone walking loops, parking lot, a shelter concrete pad and a restroom pad construction. Contractor must be licensed contractor in the State of Georgia, and the sub-contractors must be licensed in the State of Georgia and follow and comply with the Rules and Regulations of the State of Georgia. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than ten (10) percent of the Bid, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will within ten (10) days after written notice having been given of such award, enter into a written contract with the City of Thomasville, Georgia, in accordance with the accepted proposal.
