Renovation of a road / highway in Thomasville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway.
Thomas County Board of Commissioners is requesting bids for Bridge Guardrail installation and repairs within Thomas County Airport Road and Lower Meigs. Thomas County may reject any and all bids, and must reject a bid of any party who has been delinquent or unfaithful in any formal contract with Thomas County. Also, the right is reserved to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid in the bidding procedure. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for receipt of bids for a period of (90) ninety days. Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Contractor License: Any contractor submitting a bid must be a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor. Scope of Work: Furnish all materials, labor, and equipment to install, remove and reinstall approximately guardrail and post system, including traffic control to Georgia DOT standards.
