Cancellation Description This solicitaiton has been cancelled. Mobile Emergency Response Support (MERS) Thomasville HVAC Replacement ********** Please Read Over All Attached Documentation In Their Entirety ********** Purpose: The Mobile Emergency Response Support Thomasville (MERS-TV) has a need to remove the existing closed loop, water source heat pump system (WSHP) Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system and install all a new Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system in the Vehicle and Administration Building (VSAB). The replacement HVAC System will not be a closed loop water source heat pump system (WSHP). System specs: (10,000' view) 3-phase/460V water source HVAC system consisting of 15 individual units totaling 70 tons providing climate control to a multi-use 47,000 sq ft building. Scope of Work: Mobile Emergency Response Support Thomasville (MERS-TV) has a need to replace the existing HVAC system and install new in the VSAB. Contractor will furnish all labor, material, Parts, HVAC, tools, and services necessary, along with incidental to complete the removal of existing and install new. o Prior to commencing VSAB HVAC Repair Project, contractor shall thoroughly inspect conditions of all areas of associated with project to ensure proper installation can be completed. Submit findings in document form to government for review. If/any issues with ceiling structure shall be repaired or modified to satisfy current industry standards before placement of any new HVAC components. o Contractor shall remove existing HVAC Equipment and return it to the government, in accordance with the Contract. o Contractor shall replace HVAC equipment with new, non-closed loop, water source heat pump system. o Contractor shall inspect all fittings, lines before installing new equipment. If lines, fittings are found to be unusable, contractor will contact the COR. o Contractor shall reclaim all refrigerant from existing HVAC equipment before removal. Contractor will reuse the usable reclaimed refrigerant when installing new HVAC equipment. o Contractor shall replace at there own expense any damages that occur while removing and/or installing equipment. (Example: ceiling tile, ceiling grid, wall plaster, concrete etc). o Contractor shall test after installation of new HVAC System to make sure everything is set up and working the way it should. o Contractor shall review TECHNICAL EXHIBIT 1, on pg 15 of it's entirely. o Contractor shall review TECHNICAL EXHIBIT 2, on pg 17 of it's entirely. A Site visit is strongly recommended. A site visit will help vendors to submit more accurate, competitive, and tailored bid, increasing their chances of being considered for the requirement and reducing risk. The facility is a 40-year-old, purpose-built multi-use building. Visiting the site will allow for: Better understanding of the scope, assess the actual site conditions, see potential challenges, opportunity to ask clarifying questions A Site Visit will be held Monday July 14, 2025 between the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm. The cut-off day for questions will be Tuesday, July 15, 2025 by 12:00pm ET. Responses to questions will be returned as soon as practicable.
