Written, sealed proposals are requested from qualified vendors for replacing approximately 47,200 square feet of roofing at the High School located at 3504 Harry Langdon Blvd in Council Bluffs, IA 51503. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope endorsed on the outside with the specified project information. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid security of 5% of the bid amount in the form of a cashier's or certified check. The contractor must provide payment and performance bonds each equal to 100 percent of the contract sum, the cost of which should be included in the bid price. The bid security will be held by the owner until a contract is fully executed and bonds are approved by the owner. Bids can be modified or withdrawn prior to the deadline by written notice. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, accept proposals in whole or in part, award by individual items or lump sum, and waive any irregularities if it is in the best interest of the school district.
