The locations are maintained by the City of Elgin. Improvements are proposed on Kimball Street beginning at N. Grove Avenue and ending at Dundee Avenue. The net and gross length of the project is 2,042 feet (0.39 miles). The project consists of, but not limited to, installation and furnishing of advanced transportation controller and cabinet with battery-backup systems on existing foundations, installation and assembly of video detection system complete, installation and assembly of PTZ camera system complete, installation of new center island traffic signal posts on existing foundations, installation of fiber optic interconnect system, restoration of the construction area, and all other incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and described herein.
