This Bid Package will consist of separate sealed Bids for the following Bid Divisions: BD 101: Earthwork & Site Utilities BD 102: Asphalt Paving & Site Concrete BD 103: Selective Demolition BD 104: Concrete Footings & Foundations BD 105: Building Concrete BD 106: Masonry BD 107: Steel BD 108: Carpentry & General Trades BD 109: Roofing BD 114: Aluminum Entrances/Glass/Glazing BD 115: Metal Stud & Drywall BD 116: Hard Tile BD 117: Acoustical Treatment BD 118: Carpet & Resilient Flooring BD 120: Painting BD 140: Plumbing BD 141: Fire Suppression BD 142: HVAC BD 143: Electrical BD 148: Landscaping BD 149: Fencing & Gates BD 158: Playground Equipment & Surfacing All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security, in either the form of a bid bond or certified bank check, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the Bid, payable to Romeo District Library as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Library is secured from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid or failure of the Bidder to enter a Contract for performance. Further, the Bidder will execute the Contract, provide the required insurance certificate(s) and file the required bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract but prior to Work commencing. Romeo District Library reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, either in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities and irregularities therein.
