Site work for a civil project in Douglas, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The City is requesting qualifications and proposals from engineering firms for pre- and post-award services related to a CDBG-DR Project. The scope includes preparing a preliminary engineering report, planning, design, cost estimating, bidding, contracting, construction oversight, quality control, and project closeout. Engineering contracts will also require obtaining and maintaining all Build America Buy America (BABA) documentation during construction, with certification at project completion. The work may involve public infrastructure improvements such as water, sewer, street paving, and/or drainage, and could extend to future community and economic development projects, depending on grant funding. All contracts are subject to Federal and State contract provisions. Firms must mail three copies of their proposals to the specified City of Douglas address. Proposals received at other locations or after the stated deadline will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities. Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. The project is subject to various federal regulations pertaining to HUD-assisted projects and the Build America Buy America Act (BABA).
