Sealed bids are requested for the FY'26 City of Douglas Wastewater Treatment Plant Clarifier Drive Removal, Rebuild, and Reinstallation. This project consists of the removal, off-site rebuild, and reinstallation of the existing clarifier drive at the City of Douglas Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Work includes providing structural support for clarifier components, performing safe disassembly, transporting the drive to a qualified facility, completing a full rebuild, reinstalling the refurbished unit, conducting testing and verification, and completing final site cleanup. Bids must be F.O.B. Destination at 123 W Cherry St., Douglas, GA 31533, and submitted on forms provided by the City. All bids must be sealed in an envelope clearly marked "FY'26 City of Douglas Wastewater Treatment Plant Clarifier Drive Removal, Rebuild, and Reinstallation Bid #66812-26-0016." Three copies of each bid are required. The City reserves the right to accept the lowest, most acceptable bid and to accept or reject any or all bids. Technicalities or irregularities may be waived in the best interest of the city. Additional information can be obtained from the City of Douglas Purchasing Department.
