Renovation of an educational facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

MPS West High School Temperature Control System Replacement Phase 1. All bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference located at the main entrance of West High School to familiarize themselves with the site conditions, bidding requirements, general and supplementary conditions of construction, and to ensure comprehension of the specifications. The pre-bid conference is the only time bidders will be allowed access to the building to review existing conditions. Bid documents may be obtained from A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. (Omaha or Lincoln offices) in PDF format upon receipt of a non-refundable card payment of $50.00 plus 7% NE sales tax, or as a printed copy for $100.00 plus tax. Only complete sets of bid documents may be obtained, and shipping requires an additional non-refundable fee. Printed bid documents do not need to be returned, as there is no deposit to be refunded. The entire project is at West High School, 5710 S176th St, Omaha, NE 68135. The project consists of demolition and replacement of original temperature control system components throughout the existing facility. B. Work under this contract includes all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the work required for the construction of the West High School Temperature Control Replacement project. C. Renovations will take place during staff and student summer vacation, winter break, other student and staff holidays, and outside of normal school hours. The building will be unoccupied, although select staff may visit the building periodically to conduct work. The building will be under active construction for two other concurrent projects during the project timeline that the contractor will be required to coordinate activities with. One project will be an interior renovation that will replace ceilings in select areas which will overlap the scope of the temperature control project. The other project will replace the Sound System in the theater. D. Work in the facility shall be allowed during normal working hours throughout the project, however, the contractor must provide, at all times, for clear exit paths, proper lighting, and fire/smoke protection (subject to approval of all authorities having jurisdiction) and protection against any and all fumes and odors caused by construction activities. The contractor shall halt or modify any activities the Owner determines to be disruptive in any manner to their continued use of the building. The Owner will award a combined contract which includes the following categories of work: 1. General Construction 2. Mechanical Construction 3. Electrical Construction Work furnished and installed by the Owner or a separate contractor includes the following: 1. HVAC Balancing and Commissioning
