The Department of Transportation proposes to remediate 19 bus stops located within the City of Fresno to remove the deficiencies notated in the FAX ADA Transition Plan. These deficiencies will include replacement and repairs of existing sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and general accessibility improvements. The remediation work will also serve to provide safer bus stops and an improved customer experience at each of the project stops. The environmental finding will support the FAX Division efforts to appear before the State of California Transportation Commission to request the formal funding allocation for this project. Bidders are required to be licensed with a valid Class A or Class B Contractors License issued by the State of California.
