This project resurfaces approximately 18,000 square feet of court surface with a new textured, single colored surfacing system, applies new textured game lines, and modifies the ten-foot high chain link fencing to six-foot height and other incidental work. The Contractor will be required to utilize the Virtual Project Manager (VPM) online website for the duration of the project, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Project Manager. The online account is free to the Contractor and must be utilized for all submittals, RFIs, pay requests, and all other project-related correspondence. The Contractor agrees to commence work within 15 calendar days after signing the contract and to complete the work within 40 calendar days. Contractors and listed subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations prior to submitting bids. All employees must be paid not less than the hourly wage rate as determined by the Department of Industrial Relations. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bid submission, and to award to the lowest responsible bidder. No bid will be considered unless it is submitted on a proposal form furnished by the City of Lodi within the full set of contract documents. The prime contractor must possess a valid license under the designation(s): California Class A or C-8, C-12 or D-47 with an additional license to install fencing.
