Renovation of a municipal facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Administration Office Building Roof Replacement Furnish all material, equipment, and labor to complete the Roof Replacement and Air Handler Replacement at the Scranton Housing Authority Administration Building for the category of General Construction. The work includes providing materials and labor to remove and replace the existing EPDM roof and metal copings, and includes a mechanical engineering component for the removal and replacement of mechanical equipment as specified in the documents. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed opaque envelope with the name of the Bidder, Contact Number, and Project Name indicated. Documents must be purchased as a complete set, and each contractor must register at Steamtown Blueprint to receive related information. Bid security of 5% of the bid amount is required. Successful bidders must furnish and pay for performance and labor and material bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. The project shall be coordinated by the Scranton Housing Authority. Contractors are advised of wage and equal employment opportunity requirements. The Scranton Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any formalities in the bidding.
