The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the replacement of the existing Titan Trax Shield surface on the north five courts of the ten court tennis complex, approximately 32,500 square feet, within the City of Watertown. All Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's, certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond equal to at least five percent of the total Bid, made payable to the City of Watertown, such guarantee to be forfeited should the successful Bidder fail to enter into the contract. This contract requires electronic bid bonds which may be submitted through Surety 2000 using contract #9985120. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100 percent of the contract price. The City of Watertown reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty days after the time set for opening Bids. Bidding documents may be examined, by appointment only, at the Engineering Department from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Instructions for prequalification can be found in the bidding documents or supplied by the Contractor.
