The work for which proposals are asked may include the following: Removing Asphaltic Surface Milling, Tack Coat, Geotextile Fabric Pavement Interlayer, HMA Pavement, Pavement Marking, Traffic Control, and all incidental items required to complete the work. Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) funds as administered through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) are being used to fund a portion of this project. Pre-Qualification: Yes The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100 percent of the contract price. The City of Watertown reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the time set for opening Bids. Bidders shall prequalify with the City on forms in the bidding documents or on forms supplied by the Contractor not less than five (5) days before the opening of Bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE as having received the Bidding Documents.
