Scope of Work: This project consists of the procurement and installation of a pre-engineered clear span metal roof structure, along with the associated concrete foundations and lighting/power package, plus a fully coordinated top running overhead traveling crane system to service the four filter basins, plus any other associated scope of work included in the contract documents. Instructions to Bidders: Bids must be submitted to the Office of Procurement in a sealed envelope marked "North Gulfport Wastewater Treatment Plant Filter Roof Structure (MCWI No. 149-2-CW5.5) or electronically at the designated website before the deadline. Only written inquiries will be accepted, and they must be received by the specified date and time. The project will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder, but the City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality. The successful bidder must adhere to the City's policy concerning non-discrimination. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the opening date. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Bidders must comply with procurement requirements as per document 2 CFR 200, and positive efforts must be made to use small and minority owned businesses and women's business enterprises. Direct contact with City employees or officials regarding the proposal is strictly forbidden and will result in disqualification.
