The contractor shall provide all labor, materials (except as otherwise noted), and equipment to install asphalt speed humps using infrared heating technology at 20 locations. The project also includes the installation of temporary traffic control and other associated work. All work is to be completed within 120 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit sealed bids electronically or at the Purchasing Division office. Late bids will not be considered. Bidding documents are available to view online and may be obtained electronically through request. To submit a bid electronically, bidders must register as a potential supplier online. All bids, whether mailed or electronic, require submission of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check for five percent of the base bid plus additive alternates. Electronic submissions must include copies of both sides of the payment check or bid bond. Bids must be signed in accordance with Louisiana law; a Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority authorizing the signatory must be included or the bid will be rejected.
