California Wage Determination: 2025-2 Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services to construct landscape improvements at the West Village Agricultural Buffer area located immediately northwest of the intersection of Hutchison Drive and Horizon Street in the West Village area of UC Davis, Davis, California. Improvements include landscape grading of basins and gentle mounding, a 10-foot-wide gravel maintenance access road, irrigation lines to provide connection points for future use, and welded-wire-mesh fencing and swing gate installation. See Specification Section 01 23 00 Alternates for information on Alternates. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: A - General Engineering Contractor. Only bidders who participate in both the Pre-Bid Conference and the Job Walk in their entirety will be allowed to bid on the Project as prime contractors. The awarded contractor shall make best efforts to provide qualified SBEs and DVBEs with the maximum opportunity to participate. The work described in the contract is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. No contractor or subcontractor, regardless of tier, may be listed on a Bid for, or engage in the performance of, any portion of this project, unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 and 1771.1. Bidders and their subcontractors must follow nondiscrimination requirements and pay prevailing wage at the location of the work. All persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site must be paid no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local working condition requirements. PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk attendees should plan to arrive on Campus at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled meeting time to arrange for parking, which can be difficult at times. Attendees are to park in hourly spaces on Horizon Street or Acer Street (see attached map). Pre-bid Conference will be held at the location indicated on the attached map. Please note UC Davis Parking Services IS CURRENTLY ENFORCING parking permit requirements. Design and Construction Management WILL NOT issue Parking Permits. A valid UCD permit is required to park on campus. Use AggiePark to purchase your permit. o AggiePark is available via the AMP Park app on your iPhone or Android device. Once you pay through the AMP app, Compliance Officers will be able to scan your vehicle's license plate and determine if payment for parking has been paid for on your parked vehicle for that day. Failure to pay for daily parking may result in a citation. From Sacramento o Take I-80 West toward San Francisco. o Take Exit 70 and merge onto CA-113 North toward Woodland. o Take Exit 27 toward Hutchison Drive/UC Davis. o Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Hutchison Dr./Airport o Turn left onto Hutchison Drive o At traffic circle, take 1 st exit and stay on Hutchison Drive o At traffic circle, take 3 rd exit to continue on Hutchison Drive o Turn right onto Horizon Street o Hourly parking will be located towards the end of Horizon Street (or you may turn right onto Acer Street for additional parking) From San Francisco o Take I-80 East toward Sacramento o Take the CA-113 North exit toward Woodland o Take Exit 27 toward Hutchison Drive/UC Davis o Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Hutchison Dr./Airport o Turn left onto Hutchison Drive o At traffic circle, take 1 st exit and stay on Hutchison Drive o At traffic circle, take 3 rd exit to continue on Hutchison Drive o Turn right onto Horizon Street o Hourly parking will be located towards the end of Horizon Street (or you may turn right onto Acer Street for additional parking) From Woodland (from CA-113 South) o Take the CA-113 South interchange toward Davis o Take Exit 27 for Hutchinson Drive toward UC Davis o Turn right onto Hutchinson Drive o At traffic circle, take 1 st exit and stay on Hutchison Drive o At traffic circle, take 3 rd exit to continue on Hutchison Drive o Turn right onto Horizon Street o Hourly parking will be located towards the end of Horizon Street (or you may turn right onto Acer Street for additional parking) pre-bid desp- A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference and MANDATORY Job Walk will be conducted on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. Participants shall meet at West Village Open Space - Northwest corner of West Village - located North of Acer Street and Horizon Street intersection (see attached map). Bidders must be present at the Pre-Bid Conference no later than the scheduled start time. Only bidders who participate in both the Conference and the Job Walk in their entirety will be allowed to bid on the Project as prime contractors. For further information, contact Amanda Houston via email: contracts.dcm@ucdavis.edu. It is currently anticipated that the Conference/Job Walk will last approximately 2 hours. PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk attendees should plan to arrive on Campus at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled meeting time to make arrangements for parking. Visitors must have a valid permit to park on campus. Daily Visitor Permits may be purchased from the AggiePark - AMP Park in C Zone areas (see signs in parking lots for zone information). Any parking challenges that are encountered will not excuse late arrivals and will result in that firm being ineligible to bid on the Project.
