ADDITION AREA B SHALL CONSIST OF A NEW MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM WITH STAGE, LIBRARY EXPANSION AND RELATED SPACES. RENOVATIONS SHALL CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING: 1.AREA A- TWO NEW SMALL GROUP INSTRUCTION ROOMS,2. AREA B- RE-CONFIGURATION OF EXISTING GYM TO CREATE NEW MUSIC ROOM AND LIBRARY; 3. AREA C- CAFETERIA INCREASED FLOOR SPACE BY REMOVING STAGE, KITCHEN AND SERVING LINE RENOVATIONS AND 4. AREA D- RENOVATE ROOM 134 TO CREATE NEW SMALL GROUP CONSTRUCTION AND CORRIDOR AND 5/ AREA E- CONVERT EXISTING LIBRARY 110 TO TWO CLASSROOMS AND ONE SMALL GROUP INSTRUCTION ROOM. Additions and Renovations to Community Park Elementary School, together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the Bid Documents. Bids will be received for a Single Overall Contract, requiring DPMC Classifications: C008 or C009 Prime Contractor with C029, C030, C032, C047, C066 Subcontractor. Bid proposals must be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a separate sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and clearly marked with the contract title and/or bid number. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, not to exceed $20,000. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction in the specified classifications prior to the date bids are received. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company stating it will provide Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum, and a Maintenance Bond in required form. This project is subject to the New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act. All bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and possess a current certificate indicating compliance. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible. All contractors and subcontractors must provide a Business Registration Certificate prior to contract award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject all bids and to waive minor informalities in accordance with applicable law. All Site Work including indicated parking lot expansion, concrete curbs, concrete stairs w/ aluminum handrails, concrete sidewalks, stormwater basin. 2. New Building Additions / Renovations: a. First Floor Addition: 1) Three Self-Contained Pre-Kindergarten Classrooms, 2) Storage / Mechanical Room, 3) Multi-Purpose Room / Gymnasium with Stage, Gym Office, Storage & Mechanical Room, 4) Flex. Room, Janitor's Closet, Boy's & Girl's Toilet Rooms, 5) Two story Staircase, b. First Floor Renovations: 1) Convert Kindergarten Classroom to a Small Group Instruction (S.G.I.) Room and Corridor. 2) Convert Gymnasium to Vocal Music Room & Media Center with Office / Work Room, 3) Convert Library to two Classrooms, 4) Cafeteria Renovations to provide a dedicated Food Service Line, 5) Courtyard Renovations. c. Second Floor Addition: 1) Two Classrooms, 2) Two Small Group Instruction (S.G.I.) Rooms, 3) Flex. Room (with Operable Partition to Divide the Room). d. Second Floor Renovations: 1) Convert Resource Room to Corridor & Storage & Electrical Room. 3. Alterations to existing building at the connection of the new addition(s). 4.
