Renovation of a library in Holliston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
**As of February 6, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work includes the restoration of four large wooden framed single paned windows and six smaller single lite windows located at the Holliston Public Library, 752 Washington Street, Holliston, MA. Contractors must supply all materials and labor for the project. Bidders must provide proof of general liability and workers compensation insurance at the required state minimum levels upon award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All prices must include delivery costs; no adjustments or surcharges for fuel or vehicles will be allowed. A bid deposit of at least five percent of the value of the proposed work must be submitted with the bid. Bidders must provide a minimum of three references for similar projects completed within the last five years, and submit completed and signed forms as specified. Comprehensive commercial general liability and motor vehicle insurance are required. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and meeting all statutory, wage, safety, and reporting requirements. Any prospective contractor (bidder) requesting an interpretation of existing specifications of terms and conditions must do so in writing by 12 PM January 16, 2026 addressed to James Keast at the Holliston Facilities Department, 1750 Washington Street, Holliston, MA 01746 or via email to James Keast at: keastj@holliston.k12.ma.us
