Sealed bids are requested for furnishing and supplying materials for Bridge No. 0164010, including five W30x116 A588 – 50,000 PSI (or heavier) wide flange beams with shear connectors, each girder being 60 feet long. Shop drawings for the structural steel must be submitted to the engineer for review and approval, which only covers general design features. The supplier must utilize a fabricator meeting the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) certification as required by Section 1080.3.1.6 of the 2020 Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. All welding must meet American Welding Society (AWS) specifications. Certified mill test reports and non-destructive testing reports are required for all structural steel elements. Other required components: two C7x9.8 channels for mounting guardrail posts, two C7x9.8 channels for each end of the deck, C12x25 diaphragms and diaphragm connection plates, stay-in-place forms shop cut to fit between shear connectors, four C12x25 channels (each 30 feet long), two 1/2” x 16” plates (each 30 feet long), two C6x10.5 channels (each 24 feet 7 inches long), thrie beam guardrail, and four thrie beam flared terminal ends for a 60-foot-long bridge. Materials must be delivered on site no later than 90 days after the Notice of Award. The supplier is responsible for meeting Buy America Requirements and documentation. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
