Renovation of an educational facility in Clio, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Clio Area School District Clio Intermediate/Middle School Toilet Room Renovation Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, money order or bid bond made payable to Clio Area School District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a Bid guarantee. The successful Bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all obligations arising there under, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The cost of such bonds shall be included in the Bid. The bid security of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after execution of the Contract by the Owner. The amount of the bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and insurance certificates within ten (10) days after award of Contract. Withdrawal of any Bid is prohibited for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each Bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have with the Owner, the Architect and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, either in whole or in part, to reject a Bid not accompanied by the required bid security or by other data required by the Bidding Documents or to reject a Bid which is any way incomplete or irregular and to waive informality and irregularity in the bids and in the bidding. The Owner reserves the right to accept Alternates in any order or combination and to determine the low Bidder on the basis of the sum of the base bid and the Alternates accepted. Question Deadline 01/09/2026 Bidders shall study and compare the Bidding Documents with each other, shall examine the site and local conditions and if in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Bidding Documents, or finds discrepancies, inconsistencies, ambiguities or errors in or omissions from any part of the Bidding Documents, the Bidder may submit to the Architect a written request for interpretation thereof not later than seven days before bids will be opened.
