Clio Area Schools is seeking to hire a project team to provide and install emergency standby power for freezers and coolers at the High School, Middle School/Intermediate School, and Elementary School. Interested bidders must include Division 23 - Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Division 26 - Electrical construction services to install the designed equipment and provide construction administration services. The scope of service includes, but is not limited to, new electrical emergency standby installation and construction oversight, generator concrete pads, generators, automatic transfer switches, panelboards, natural gas piping, modifications to the existing electrical system as required to provide a fully operational food service standby generator system, minimizing environmental impact and restoration, and additional electrical considerations as identified by the design team. Bidders must attend a mandatory walk-through, provide a proposed timeframe for completion, supply three references, and furnish required certificates and notarized forms. All work must be completed by the specified deadline, and the successful bidder is responsible for daily site cleaning, compliance with codes, and maintenance of records.
