PROJECT INCLUDES: Construction of a new, recirculating splash pad and associated site amenities next to the Oregon Community Pool. Additional site amenities include: concrete sidewalk, ornamental fencing, retaining wall, landscaping and site restoration. Alternative bids will be requested for the installation of shade structures, the installation of a shower and water fountain. The project is being partially funded by the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund through the National Park Service administered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by Local wage rates. All questions will be answered and sent out collectively to all bidders by Tuesday, January 13th. The project will include a new recirculation splash pad located next to the existing Oregon Community Pool. The existing splash pad equipment building will be used to house the new mechanical and filtration equipment. The owner has already purchased the splash pad features from Vortex Aquatics. The anticipated schedule for this project is starting in spring once the site is frost free and completion / open to the public by mid June.
