Renovation of a municipal facility in Pacolet, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,000-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.

The selected contractor shall remove existing HVAC equipment and properly dispose of all materials, furnish and install a new HVAC system appropriate for a building of approximately 2,000 sq. ft. in size and use, ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, energy efficiency standards, and manufacturer installation requirements, coordinate with the Town's building inspector for required inspections, provide a minimum one-year warranty on parts and labor, and certify that all new equipment is warrantied against defects with any system failure within the first year repaired or replaced at no cost to the Town. The contractor must hold a valid South Carolina contractor's license, be insured, possess or obtain a Town of Pacolet business license before starting work, submit proof of licensing and insurance with the proposal, complete a building permit application, and ensure the project passes inspection and receives final approval before payment. Proposals must include company and contact information, proof of license and insurance, confirmation of ability to obtain a business license, system specifications, equipment details, warranty, total cost, estimated timeline, and three commercial references from the past two years. A signed copy of any issued "Questions & Answers" addenda is required as confirmation of all clarifications received. Proposals will be evaluated based on total project cost, availability, equipment quality, warranty, references, experience, and assurance of reliable service with minimal maintenance requirements. The Town of Pacolet reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to award the contract in its best interest. Payment will be made upon satisfactory completion and approval by the building inspector. Contractors are responsible for compliance with all relevant laws.
