The work generally consists of roadway improvements on Forest Street, from Mission Street to State Street, including rehabilitation of the existing pavement and widening of the road section for bike lanes. Additional work includes installation and replacement of culverts, drainage swales, striping, and traffic signs. The project also includes a bid alternate for a new 12-inch water main and replacement of water services, water meters, and fire hydrants. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount not less than 5% of the total bid amount, payable to the City of McCall. Proof of Bid Security must be submitted with the official bid documents. Bid Security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the instructions to Bidders.
