Scope of work includes all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the renovation of approximately 1,350 square feet of the second floor, located within the main emergency department. This involves the replacement of two CT machines, both level one imaging rooms, renovation of the associated control rooms, and the renovation of a shared equipment room to house equipment for both CT rooms. The work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, hazardous material abatement, general construction, structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, sprinklers, and general cosmetic upgrades throughout including new lead lined drywall, flooring, ceilings, and doors. There will also be associated MEP work in the corridor and break room within the second floor and on the fourth floor roof, including new remote condensing units. The project will be multi-phase to ensure at least one CT machine remains active at all times. All work is to be completed within 200 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Bidding and contract documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at other specified locations. Complete sets of contract documents for bidding may only be obtained from the designated print company with a deposit. There is no pre-bid conference or individual walk-throughs; photographs or a video walk-through can be made available via addendum. All questions pertaining to the solicitation must be formally directed to the designated contacts in Contracts & Campus Purchasing. Communication with other staff regarding this procurement may result in disqualification.
