Site work for a water / sewer project in Felicity, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed work is the rehabilitation of water storage tanks, specifically the rehab of one standpipe and one elevated multi-leg, elevated tank at 150,000 gallons and 100,000 gallons, respectively. Bidders are to submit proposals endorsed for the Water Storage Tanks Rehab to the Village of Felicity. Proposals must be on forms furnished in the contract documents and must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the required form. Alternately, a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10 percent of the bid will be accepted as a bid guaranty. Each proposal must include the full name and address of every person or company interested in the bid. Bidders are required to comply with Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) requirements, with at least 5.4% of the contract awarded to certified MBE and WBE, including materials and supplies. Contractors and subcontractors are expected to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor where practicable, and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements. Bidders must comply with the Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages, insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty days after the bid opening. The Village reserves the right to waive informalities.
