This project requires a Comprehensive Hazardous Building Materials Survey to be conducted within the existing structure and exterior envelope at 130 S Main Street, the former Wells Fargo Bank Building. The survey focuses on testing for lead-based paints and asbestos within the main building. Suspect materials include, but are not limited to, lead paint, pipe insulation, roof assemblies, exterior soffit transit board, window systems and sealants, floor tiling, and duct mastic. Testing must be performed in an inconspicuous manner, with all testing areas sealed or taped, and roof cores properly patched to maintain the building envelope. Proposals must be submitted before 5:00 PM, January 7, 2026, and must include a proposed schedule for field testing, delivery of final reports, the testing agency’s qualifications, and the proposed fee. It is preferred that final survey reports are delivered within 21 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Emailed submissions are accepted. A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for interested testing firms, and attendance is encouraged but not required.
