This project was awarded to Apache Underground and Excavating LLC in the amount of $127,207.50 The project includes the installation of 583 feet of 6" C900 water line pipe, 528 feet of 8" C900 water line pipe, 145 feet of 'Municipex' water service line pipe, water valves, fittings, and related appurtenances and construction work to provide complete and fully functional potable water line segments connected to the Town's public water system to replace old asbestos cement water line that are to be disconnected and abandoned in place. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total base bid amount, and made payable to the Town of Star Valley. Such Check or Bid Bond will be given as a guarantee that Bidder will enter into a Contract, if awarded, and will provide a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, and shall be declared forfeited as Liquidated Damages if the successful Bidder refuses to enter into the said Contract after being requested to do so by the Town of Star Valley. Such Check or Bid Bond will be returned to the respective unsuccessful Bidders upon request after the award of the Contract, and to the successful Bidder on execution and delivery of a satisfactory Surety Company Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract Price.
