Labor and equipment are required for the safe and efficient removal of 68 ash trees and stumps in the City. Trees shall be cut and all brush and debris removed from the site. The contractor must dispose of all wood but may deduct costs if dumping at the city’s compost site is identified in the bid documents. Stumps must be ground and all debris removed from the site, with disposal of all wood waste the responsibility of the contractor. Restoration with black dirt and grass seed will be handled by the City. The bid must include adequate traffic control and warning signage provided and set up daily by the contractor. The contractor must provide all required personal protective equipment in accordance with ANSI standards. The contractor is responsible for marking utilities before work begins. All work must take place between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with no work on weekends or holidays without City approval. Refer to the attachments for a map and list of trees to be removed.
