Renovation of a laboratory facility in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,015-square-foot laboratory facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Northwood Technical College Medical Laboratory Education Center at 821 W. 8th St., New Richmond, Wisconsin, for a 7,015 SF exterior renovation. Bids should be for a single Prime Construction Contract covering the entire work, to be submitted on a lump sum basis; segregated sub-bids will not be accepted. Work may begin after agreement execution and is to be completed in one phase as indicated in the Contract Documents. Bidders are required to attend a pre-bid conference to review project conditions and ask questions. Requests for interpretation or substitution must be made in writing to the Architect by the specified deadline. Electronic bidding documents will be distributed by OPN Architects, Inc., and addenda will be shared with those who request project documents. Bid security of 5% of the bid amount is required at the time of bid. The successful bidder must provide surety Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. Northwood Technical College reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to award the contract to any responsible bidder offering suitable supplies, equipment, and/or service at the lowest price and in the best interest of the Owner, considering quality of materials or service.
