Site work for a water / sewer project in New Ulm, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves installing a stormwater lift station with piping routed over a levee, along with grading and graveling the adjacent alley to improve drainage and access. Each and every proposal must be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid, payable to the City, to be forfeited to the City in case the successful bidder fails to enter into contract and to furnish satisfactory bond within ten (10) days after acceptance of such bid. The bid will remain subject to acceptance for 45 days after the day of bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This project is subject to prevailing wages and Buy America Build America "BABA" requirements.
