Scope of Work: The Scope of Work for OLD LANDING ROAD BULKHEAD REPLACEMENT includes in general, all labor, materials, equipment, hardware, concrete, filter cloth, and finishing work to install approximately 135 (one hundred and thirty-five) linear feet of new vinyl bulkhead located along an unnamed canal off of Assawoman Bay at the north end of Old Landing Road in Ocean City, Maryland 21842 as shown within this Scope of Work and per the updated Town of Ocean City Board of Port Warden Bulkhead Standards. b. Worksite Safety: Contractor will take appropriate safety precautions at all times while performing work. Contractor is responsible for the security of the work site relative to interaction with pedestrian movements and interim access needs. This includes pedestrian safety on Old Landing Road. c. Contractor: Contractor must be licensed in Ocean City, in addition to the State of Maryland with proof of insurance. d. Bonds: BID Bond is required. e. Project Permits and Approvals: The Town of Ocean City has obtained all necessary permit(s) and provided a fully executed copy as an attachment to the BID Documents package Minority Vendors are encouraged to compete for the Award of the Solicitation. doc note- All copies of the BID Documents and any other documents required to be submitted with the BID Documents will be enclosed in a sealed envelope. The envelope will be addressed to the Town of Ocean City Procurement Department, Attention: Procurement Manager, 214 65TH Street, Ocean City, Maryland 21842 and will be identified with the Work name: B09-26 - OLD LANDING ROAD BULKHEAD REPLACEMENT and the Vendor's name, address, and license number. If the BID Documents are sent by mail, the sealed envelope will be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope with the notation "SEALED BID DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED" on the face thereof.
