Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Ocean City, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The Town of Ocean City Procurement Department will conduct a formal Request for Quote process with a three-Quote minimum, review the submissions, and formally Award Vendor. 1.2. The Town of Ocean City is seeking Vendors to provide a proposal for irrigation installation at the Town of Ocean City Northside Park soccer field to the specifications referenced herein. Vendors may request reference photos by formal request in writing to the Procurement Manager. 1.3. The scope of work shall include in general, all materials, supplies, equipment, repairs, labor, and finishing work as described on the plans and/or specifications. 1.4. NORTHSIDE PARK SOCCER FIELD IRRIGATION INSTALLATION: 1.4.1. The general scope of this section consists of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install the irrigation system as indicated on the plans and includes, but is not necessarily limited to, an athletic sports field sprinkler system two wire automatic controller, main 2-inch water supply line, and remote control valves, as well as associated wire to connect automatic controller to the remote control valves, with proper execution of the work, including trenching and backfilling. 1.4.2. Successful Vendor shall install and connect the main 2-inch supply line into existing underground 2-inch supply line at the point that supply line exists the irrigation building. 1.4.3. Successful Vendor shall connect remote control valves to existing underground PVC lateral water lines for each zone. 1.4.4. Existing irrigation system at this location shall not need to be removed unless installation of new irrigation system is impeded. Damages to abandoned components of existing irrigation system shall not be repaired unless installation is impeded. Removal of abandoned components that impede installation of the new irrigation system shall be the responsibility of the Successful Vendor. 1.4.5. Successful Vendor shall reconnecting existing PVC from irrigation heads to newly installed valves. 1.4.6. Successful Vendor shall provide Town of Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department a complete list of irrigation system materials proposed to be furnished and installed prior to irrigation system materials delivery to the job site. Irrigation materials shall include, but are not limited to, model numbers and manufacturer(s) as shown on the plans and where noted in the specifications. Successful Vendor shall provide manufacturer name and catalog number for each item. Quote Documents for the Northside Park Soccer Field Irrigation Installation can be obtained from the Towns Procurement Department. Vendors are responsible for checking the website for Addenda before submitting their Quotes. The Town is not responsible for the content of any Proposal Document received through any third-party service. It is the Vendor's sole responsibility to ensure the completeness and accuracy of their Completed Quote Documents. Quotes are to be submitted to the Procurement Department, Attn: Procurement Manager, and must note the name of the Solicitation (Northside Park Soccer Field Irrigation Installation) on the outside of the package. Electronic Quote Documents are being accepted. Late Quote Documents will not be accepted. Minority Vendors are encouraged to compete for the Award of the Solicitation.
