Site work for a water / sewer project in Ocean City, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of dredging approximately 1.2 million cubic yards of sand from an offshore borrow area known as Weaver Shoals, located roughly seven to eight miles offshore of Ocean City, Maryland, and placing the material along approximately 8.3 miles of existing beach. The purpose of the ACMD Berm Reconstruction Project is to reduce the risk of infrastructure damage in Ocean City, Maryland caused by coastal storms. The work does not include any construction or modification of the existing dune or seawall. Location: Ocean City, MD (Beach placement area) / Weaver Shoals Offshore Borrow Area The magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000,000.00 and $40,000,000.00.
