As of February 11, 2026, project was awarded to TH Construction Company LLC, awarded amount is $87,558.75 Installation of new underground conduit from the City Auditorium to North Denver Station and from North Denver Station to the Utilities Warehouse. The contractor is to supply all materials, labor, and equipment to install approximately 6,500 linear feet of conduit for a new fiber optic route by means of horizontal directional drilling. Twelve in-ground pull boxes with tracer wire test stations are to be incorporated at various locations, interconnecting the pull boxes with two 1 1/4" conduits (totaling about 13,000 feet of duct), with some locations connected by three conduits. Terminating the conduits that exit pull boxes to serve a facility building is also specified. Locations and materials are detailed in the drawings. Bidders not on the approved list must fill out the Plan Holders Submittal Form on the City's website. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of at least five percent of the total bid. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid opening without the City's consent. The City will consider prior contract completion timelines, existing workload, and committed manpower in evaluating bids. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond for the full contract amount within ten days of award.
