Sealed Bids for the OFallon Hills Sanitary Sewer Improvements project will be received at the Duckett Creek Sanitary District Administrative Offices. The project consists of, but is not limited to, replacing the existing OFallon Hills A-1, B-1, C-1, and D-2 pumping stations, installation of new equipment, plumbing, valves, and electrical equipment and associated pumping station and storage facilities, sitework, and electrical work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract on a lump sum basis and must be submitted on forms furnished by the Owner. Each bid must remain open for up to ninety (90) days after the opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject all Bids, to reject any non-responsive Bid, to waive informalities in the Bids, and to determine the low, responsive, responsible, best Bid. The Owner also reserves the right to award the project in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the Duckett Creek Sanitary District. Not less than the state prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen, laborers, and mechanics performing their work under this contract. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for documents obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
