Introduction The City of Dardenne Prairie is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide snow and ice removal services for public streets and right-of-way within the City. The selected contractor will be responsible for complete snow and ice control operations during the winter season. This includes plowing, salting, pre-treatment, and any other services necessary to maintain safe and passable road conditions. The contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and supervision to perform these services effectively and in accordance with the City expectations. The contractor is expected to actively monitor weather forecasts and coordinate with City staff in advance of snow or ice events. A designated supervisor must be on-call and reachable 24 hours a day throughout the season. During snow events, the contractor shall deploy equipment and personnel based on designated route priorities. Priority 1 includes major roads, emergency access routes, and school access routes. Priority 2 includes residential and local streets. The contractor shall also apply de-icing and anti-icing materials as directed by the City and submit a complete post-event report within 24 hours of each storm.
