The contract work in general shall include approximately 36,845 SY 2 asphalt pavement milling, approximately 3,984 TN of 2 thick, fiber-reinforced surface course asphalt, construction of new 130 SY concrete sidewalk, 16,500 LF of Rubberized Edge Sealing and other misc. pavement repairs. The contractor is responsible for all items of work necessary to complete the project. Additional items and estimated quantities are inclusive in the Bid Proposal. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashiers check or certified check, or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company and payable to the City, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the sum total of the base bid.
