Sealed bids are requested for the furnishing of the project known as 'BUT Fairfield EV Chargers FY26 (PID 121828)' for the Public Works Department. Each bidder must submit their bid electronically via the Bid Express website using the forms provided. Bids submitted in paper, fax, or other electronic means outside of Bid Express will not be accepted. Minimum specifications may be viewed at the City of Fairfield Public Works Department. Bidders are required to submit a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit, and an Affidavit of Non-Delinquency of Personal Property Taxes. The proposal must include the full name of all parties submitting the proposal and interested persons. Bidders must provide evidence of experience with projects of similar size and complexity and list all subcontractors to be used. Bid prices must remain firm for ninety (90) days following the bid opening. The prime contractor must perform at least thirty percent of the total original contract price. The city may reject any or all bids or waive irregularities if deemed in its best interest. Work must be completed within 225 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Pre-qualification requirements: Only pre-qualified contractors are eligible to bid. Pre-qualification status must be valid at bid time, award time, and through the construction contract. For work types not pre-qualified by ODOT, a qualified contractor must still be selected. Subcontractors are not required to be pre-qualified.
