Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 1,500-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project site is located in Cheviot Hills Park, in the area of the baseball field where there is an existing restroom building to be replaced with new prefabricated restroom building. The project requires the contractor to demolish the existing field restroom building, site preparation including accessible parking, path of travel elements, foundations and methane engineered design for approval by authority having jurisdiction. Contractor will also be responsible for repairs and replacement of existing utilities and bringing point of connection within 6 feet of the new prefabricated restroom building location as well as final utility connections and methane engineered design. Existing gas meters to remain and be protected in place. If gas meter requires any alteration to meet proposed design, So Cal Gas will need to be contacted / involved. Cheviot Hills Park is within a methane zone and mitigation measures will be necessary. The successful contractor should also plan to, investigate existing conditions and obtain necessary plumbing trade permits, contractor to use California licensed plumbing subcontractors. Contractor to refer to provided LADBS GPI Report and provide as required to meet the requirements of the report.
