Description

Site work for a transportation facility in Claremont, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

Sealed bids are invited for airport improvements to construct an Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS)-III P at the Claremont Municipal Airport. The project includes the installation of an FAA weather observation system. The performance period for this work will be 28 calendar days. Work is to be completed in accordance with all applicable requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation, the FAA, the NHDOT, and the City of Claremont. Bidders must register to become eligible to bid and contract documents are available by appointment at the specified city office. Bidders are recommended to attend a pre-bid conference. The contractor must comply with federal regulations including Buy American Preferences, Civil Rights – Title VI Assurances, Davis-Bacon Act, Debarment and Suspension, Foreign Trade Restriction, Lobbying Federal Employees, Recovered Materials, Executive Order 11246, and pay minimum wages as established by the U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination for Sullivan County, New Hampshire. Further, the contractor must comply with federal civil rights laws, and the requirements of 49 CFR part 26 apply to this contract. The Owner encourages full and fair participation by all qualified firms regardless of business size or ownership. Additional certifications regarding trade restrictions and unmanned aircraft systems operation are required.
