Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals will be received for the 2026 Paving Contract for Lewisburg Borough. The work includes furnishing and placing 813 Tons of 9.5 MM Fine Grade Wearing Course, 6016 SY of Asphalt Milling, and 30 Tons of Flexible Base Replacement. A bituminous escalator clause is included in this contract. PA Prevailing Wage Rates apply. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Municipality. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract. A certified check or performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, made payable to the municipality, will be required from the lowest responsible bidder for each contract. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
