Remodeling of a conference / convention center in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a conference / convention center.
The Bellevue Convention Center Authority is seeking a contractor to remodel Meydenbauer Center’s Center Hall as outlined in the specifications. The estimate for the project is $3,000,000. Bids must be submitted using the Bid Form by the deadline and must include an Apprentice Utilization Plan, as 15% of all labor hours are required to be performed by registered apprentices. There is an incentive payment for apprentice utilization and a disincentive charge for not achieving required apprentice hours. Bid documents can be obtained by pick-up, email request, or download from the specified website. An informational copy of the bid documents is also on file for inspection at the Authority's office. All questions must be submitted in writing to the specified contacts, and responses will be provided in writing as addenda. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive immaterial irregularities in the bids received. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walkthrough is required for all bidders.
