Question Deadline 01/02/2026 CORRECTIONS, INTERPRETATIONS, AND ADDENDA Any omissions, discrepancies or need for interpretation should be brought in writing to the attention ofthe Engineer not later than 4 days prior to bid opening. Work to be performed includes constructing approximately 7,100 linear feet of ductile iron water mains, installing new fire hydrant assemblies, installing replacement water services, construction dewatering, relocating existing utilities as required, abandoning asbestos cement pipe, restoring surface conditions including asphalt trench patching and concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, performing traffic control, and other work as required to complete the project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the bid amount. Checks should be made payable to the City Treasurer. If the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract and provide a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the specified time, the bid bond will be forfeited to the City. Supplemental Responsible Bidder Criteria will apply and are included in the Special Contract Information. Bidders may request modifications to the criteria in writing, and the City may modify them at its discretion prior to the bid due date. Any bidder found not responsible based on these criteria may appeal by providing additional information within two business days of the City's determination. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in the process. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the specified opening date. The Engineer's Estimate range is $4,400,000 to $5,400,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
