Renovation of a multi-residential development in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
Work includes, but is not limited to, Building 9 envelope renovation, remove/replace each unit's vents, mechanical items, and other work described in the project manual. Bidders must have a current certificate of registration as a contractor for the last three years under the same name and have completed the required L&I training. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as "Bid Documents: Sandpiper Envelope Renovation." Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the amount of five percent of the total bid, payable to King County Housing Authority. As a condition of award, payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract award amount shall be furnished for the work. KCHA strongly encourages participation from minority-owned and women-owned businesses, socially and economically disadvantaged businesses, and small businesses. KCHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days subsequent to the opening of bids without written consent of KCHA. Question Deadline 12/11/2025 Questions pertaining to the bid are to be sent via email to MichelleJ@kcha.org no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to bid due date. The purpose of the contract is for the removal and replacement of select exterior building components of Building 9 of the Sandpiper East Apartments located in Bellevue, Washington.
