The San Lorenzo Valley Water District seeks survey services for the South Zone Pipeline Survey project, preparing to install a new water main in Brookdale, CA. The main will connect to the South Tanks with installation partially within road rights-of-way and partially cross country. The topographic/boundary survey will cover the proposed 5,100-foot alignment, mostly along paved single-lane mountain roads, with some cross-country sections over steep terrain, encompassing approximately 205,000 square feet. Deliverables are a topographic/boundary survey in .pdf and .dwg formats, identification of landmarks and pavement limits, and identification of any parcel boundaries encountered. The survey must include a 20-foot buffer on either side of the alignment, accounting for all trees within the buffer that can be reasonably and safely surveyed; otherwise, tree diameter and location should be estimated. Internal quality control and assurance are required, and any subconsultants must be managed by the primary consultant. The project must comply with prevailing wage and specific survey requirements. Onsite work is restricted to 8AM-5PM. Proposals must include a list of services, a completion schedule, and a compensation schedule. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in disqualification.
