The City of West Jordan Public Works Department, Engineering Division, is requesting bids from qualified professional engineering firms to provide design and bidding support services for a concrete sidewalk project along the south side of 7000 South, from 2700 West to 2400 West. The selected Consultant will coordinate with the City and affected utility providers to prepare complete design and bid documents in accordance with City standards. Work includes refining the City's concept design, preparing right-of-way acquisition documents, identifying and coordinating relocation of utilities and water meters, developing quantity take-offs and cost estimates, and preparing all documents necessary for construction bidding. Required tasks include field surveying, preparation of right-of-way and easement documents, utility coordination, preparation of construction drawings at several design milestones (60% and 90%), and preparation of final stamped construction and bid documents. The Bidder shall familiarize itself with the scope of work, site, legal requirements, and conditions affecting the cost and performance of the work, and undertake any investigations necessary to submit a responsible bid. Submit bids electronically through the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P Bonfire) by the specified deadline. Do not contact any city officials except the designated Purchasing Agent. Maintain the required insurance coverages throughout the term of the agreement and ensure all bid information complies with the requirements for confidentiality and submission outlined in the instructions. All costs should be provided as listed in Attachment A - Cost Schedule. The City may award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Pre-qualification requirements: Firms must be pre-qualified through a prior Statement of Qualifications process for Transportation Systems - Road Design Projects Under $1 Million. Only the following pre-approved vendors may submit a response: Avenue Consultants, CMT Technical Services, Consor North America, Focus Engineering, Horrocks Engineers, Kimley-Horn, Psomas, METHODS Consulting, WSP USA, Wood Environment & Infrastructure, Wilson & Co. The selected provider must maintain insurance coverage as specified, including General Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, Professional Liability, and, if applicable, Excess Liability insurance. The provider must also comply with all other requirements listed in the instructions to bidders and project scope documents.
