Renovation of an educational facility in Lebanon, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,500-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

The scope includes, but is not limited to, the full roof replacement over the Cafeteria / Gymnasium. The Contract Documents define the full project scope. Bids will be received for a lump sum price for the entire project, all trades, all inclusive. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following categories: (C068) Roofing-Membrane Modified Bitumen or (C070) Roofing Built-Up. Bidders must also be prequalified or include documentation for prequalified subcontractors for the following classifications: (C030) Plumbing, (C032) HVACR, (C047) Electrical. Bidders and subcontractors for each of the major branches of work must be prequalified by the DPMC. Bidders must submit a Certificate of Prequalification/Classification from the DPMC and an Affidavit as to the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts for the Bidder and for all listed subcontractors requiring DPMC prequalification. If the Bidder is not classified by the DPMC for (C008) General Construction or (C009) General Construction/Alterations/Additions, the Bidder must retain a subcontractor that is classified by the DPMC as listed to perform such work. The selected subcontractor(s) for these classifications shall not be named in the bid. No modifications to the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions, or Specifications are permitted prior to bid acceptance except as may be allowed by addenda. Bids that propose modifications to the requirements will be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq., submit an Initial Project Workforce Report (Form AA-201), and provide a statement of ownership as required by N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. All bidders and listed subcontractors must comply with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act and have current certification from the Division of Wage and Hour Compliance in the Department of Labor and Workforce Development at the time of bid submission. Business Registration Certificates are required prior to contract award. An affidavit that neither the bidder nor its subcontractors are on the State Treasurer's or Federal Government List of Debarred, Suspended, or Disqualified Firms is required with the bid. Bids must include security in the form of a bid bond or certified/cashier's check payable to the Clinton Township School District Board of Education equal to 10% of the bid amount, not to exceed $20,000, and a Certificate of Consent of Surety. The successful bidder will furnish additional bonds as specified. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after opening. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
