Proposals are requested for the purchase of various size water system parts and appurtenances, including but not limited to valves, repair bands, and water meter yokes, as well as the purchase of various size water meters. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Bid Express service. Bidders are required to register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation before bidding electronically. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty: either a bid bond for 100% of the total bid amount or a certified check, cashiers’ check, official bank check, or letter of credit for 10% of the total bid amount, all payable to the City of Troy, Ohio. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities when advantageous, and select the best bid in its opinion. The City also retains the right to enter into a single or multiple contract for materials on the bid list.
